- Technical data: IP address, user agent, device and session identifiers, timestamps, security events, logs, and cookie data.
- Verification data: identity, residency, ownership, source-of-funds, or compliance information when required.
2. How we use data
- to create accounts, authenticate users, and provide marketplace features;
- to process and reconcile crypto deposits, orders, reserved funds, and withdrawals;
- to deliver notifications, customer support, transaction messages, and security alerts;
- to prevent fraud, duplicate payments, abuse, sanctions violations, and unauthorized access;
- to moderate content, investigate disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with law;
- to analyze reliability and improve performance, usability, and service design.
3. Legal bases
Depending on your location, we process data to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention, establish or defend legal claims, and act on consent where consent is required.
4. Sharing
We may share the minimum necessary information with:
- other transaction participants, as needed to complete an order;
- hosting, email, security, analytics, support, verification, and infrastructure providers;
- blockchain data providers and public networks used to verify transactions;
- professional advisers, auditors, acquirers, or successors involved in a business transaction;
- courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.
Public blockchains are independently operated, globally accessible, and generally immutable.
5. International transfers
Data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use contractual safeguards or another legally recognized transfer mechanism.
6. Retention
We retain data for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, meet legal and tax obligations, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and applicable law. Backup copies may persist for a limited period after deletion from active systems.
7. Security
We use access controls, encrypted transport, password hashing, rate limits, logging, backups, and transaction-integrity controls. No system is completely secure. You are responsible for using a strong unique password and protecting your email, devices, wallets, and authentication credentials.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may withdraw consent. We may need to verify your identity. Some records must be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute purposes. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Children
The service is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to data processing or enter marketplace transactions. Contact us if you believe a child provided data unlawfully.
10. Updates and contact
We may update this Policy and will post a revised effective date. Privacy requests may be sent to support@lootpayr.com.
